James M. Wynne Sr. (Jim), passed away at the age of 86 on June 29, 2016, in Jacksonville, FL after a long battle with medical complications. Jim was born and raised in Riverside and later resided in Arlington, St. Augustine, Miami and Jax Beach. His father, Jesse McFarland, owned Wynne's Drugstore at the corner of Lomax & Five points, where Jim spent many hours helping his dad. His mother, Mary Christine Delamar was a schoolteacher. Jim graduated from Lee High School in 1948. After high school, Jim played trumpet for the Army band and the Miami Symphony Orchestra. His favorite genre was Jazz. Jim also raced sports cars until around 1957. 
Jim was a sales rep for several different food brokers traveling through FL, GA, and SC. He was a hardworking family man and a good father who enjoyed spending time with his children, going to the beach, collecting shells for shell art, and fishing. 
Jim had 4 children, (Butch, Mitch, Elizabeth and Jim), 3 grandchildren,(Kristi, Nebraya, Alicia) and 6 great grandchildren, (Conner, Kelsey, Brennan, Marley, Brycen and Bentley). 
He will be greatly missed by all.
