ROOKS, HAROLD JACKSON

Harold Jackson Rooks, age 87, passed away peacefully April 12, 2016 surrounded by his family. Harold was born August 7, 1928 in Tifton, Ga. where he grew up until joining the U.S. Navy in 1946. He enjoyed a 23 year career in the Navy and retired in 1968 as Chief Petty Officer. On a return trip home to Tifton, while on leave from the Navy in 1950, he met the love of  his life Marie Tucker…
