Garbage, recycling and yard waste is collected in Atlantic Beach every day of the year, except for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. This Christmas, the solid waste route will run one day behind for the week of Dec. 25. Monday customers will be serviced on Tuesday; Tuesday customers will be serviced on Wednesday; Wednesday customers will be serviced on Thursday; Thursday customers will be serviced on Friday; and Friday customers will be serviced on Saturday.
Solid waste collection will remain the same on New Year's Day and the remainder of that week.
